First of all, let’s look at what child Abuse is.Child Abuse is doing something that results in harm to a child, or put a child at risk of harm.Child Abuse can be Physical, sexual or emotional neglect, or not providing for a childs needs is also a form of child Abuse.Most abused children suffer greater emotional than physical damage. An abused child may become depressed, he or she may withdraw, think of suicide or become violent. An older child may use Drugs or alcohol, try to run away or abuse others.The Federal Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) defines child Abuse and neglect as, at a minimum”Any recent act or failure to act on the part of a parent or caretaker

which results in Death, serious physical or emotional harm, sexual abuse or exploitation.Or an act or failure to act which present an eminent risk of serious harm.Now let’s go to our main topic, The Abandoned Almajiri’s On The Street Of Kaduna. Whose parents just abandoned them on the streets without any parental guidance to cater for thier needs. No guardian to tell them what to do and what not to do, so the Almajiri boys have total freedom to do what ever they feel like without any hindrance from any one. The kaduna state government has taken the bold step towards the Almajiri’s, that States ” any Almajiri found on the streets of kaduna should be taken to a school to undergo free education.Looking at the video above, we’ll know that, If these Almajiri boys are not handled properly, it would lead to serious issue in the state if not curb in time.
